One of the goals of this workshop is to have you, the instructors, become familiar with different technologies that are available for use in the classroom and to build a relationship with other faculty members that currently use different technologies in the classroom.
My goal is to cover the basics of various technologies and to demonstrate knowledge through visual assessment. I have pre-loaded the various laptops that have been provided to you with documents and throughout the workshop, will ask that you demonstrate your ability by uploading items and/or adding items to the various sites. Additionally, this will be a good opportunity to promote collaboration between colleagues and give each of you a chance to form a bond. Those that are familiar with the various technologies may be able to assist others that are having difficulties.
After completion of the workshop, I will conduct a review of the Pre-Training and Post-Training Assessments (Surveys) to see what you thought about the workshop. Through comments and the oversight gathered during the workshop, I believe I can improve the workshop for future use.
